Dr Samarasekara completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from The University of Western Australia (UWA).

Dr Samarasekara is an experienced Melbourne podiatrist at different areas of podiatry with special interest in diabetic foot health, wound care and biomechanics. Being able to help her patients perform even the simplest of the tasks such as being able to walk properly is what she finds the most rewarding part of her work.

In her free time, she likes playing video games, drawing, reading and sipping Strawberry Daquiri. Her all-time favourite movie is The Lion King.
