Flat Feet

Flat feet is a condition of the foot that is characterised by the entirety of your sole touching the floor when you are standing. This common, and ordinarily painless condition is often the result of lack of arch development during childhood, injury to the tendons and ligaments that support and stabilise your arch or the wear and tear associated with age.

Accompanying flat feet is often significant pain or discomfort in your feet and ankles, and can contribute to the development of misalignment and other problems such as weakened posture and lower back pain.
