Dr. Jay Weingarten

Dr. Jay Weingarten is a highly accomplished podiatric physician and surgeon from the United States who brings more than three decades of clinical and surgical expertise to our practice. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990 and has since developed a distinguished career in foot and ankle medicine.

Dr. Weingarten has a 30 year history of performing both general and surgical podiatry care.  He is board certified by the American College of Podiatric Medicine as well as the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. These certifications reflect his advanced knowledge and training, as well as his surgical expertise, and long term commitment to maintaining the highest standards of podiatric medical and surgical care.

He completed advanced training throughout the United States, with his professional career based in Florida for approximately 30 years. During this time, he developed extensive experience in lymph edema, pediatric deformities, sports- and dance-related injuries, traumatic foot and ankle conditions, and complex reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Jay Weingarten also has significant expertise in regenerative and minimally invasive techniques, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, fat pad augmentation and replacement procedures, mini-incision plantar fascia surgery, using advanced tissue-modulating technologies such as Topaz coblation surgery combined with biologic therapies.

Now joining our practice in Australia, Dr. Jay Weingarten brings a wealth of international experience and advanced procedural knowledge, enhancing the scope and quality of care available to our patients while aligning with Australian regulatory standards.
